How to Become A Member There are 3 ways to become a member of Union Valley Baptist Church.. By Baptism - Any person professing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, giving evidence of repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, willingly agreeing to submit to the doctrines and practices of this church, and upon baptism by immersion. By Letter - Members of other Baptist churches may be received by letter certifying that they are members in good standing with willingness of the person to submit to the doctrines and practices of this church. By
Statement - When no letter is obtainable, a candidate
of like faith can give evidence of prior conversion experience and
baptism by immersion. |
